Set up ticketing
- 1While creating or editing an event, turn on ticket-required entry.
- 2If the event has a ticket price, ticketing stays on automatically and cannot be disabled.
- 3Enter the ticket price and event capacity. For a free event, use a zero price while keeping ticketing enabled if every guest still needs a ticket.
- 4Complete payout setup before publishing a paid ticketed event.
- 5Publish the event and share its event page with your audience.
What guests receive
After checkout, each guest can open their purchased tickets from the Tickets page. Every ticket contains a QR code and a manual code for check-in.
When a venue creates an event, StageCircuit also places a clearly labeled test ticket on its Tickets page. The same page contains tickets the venue account purchased for other people’s events. Customer tickets sold for your own events are managed from the event itself.
Manage a ticketed event
- Open the event from your profile to monitor it and launch ticket scanning.
- Use the ticket-holder message tool when you need to send an update to everyone who purchased a ticket.
- Keep the event capacity accurate; it controls how many tickets can be issued.
- Removing a ticket from a purchaser’s ticket list is not the same as issuing a refund. Handle payment changes through the applicable payment and support process.
